Hi !

I'm just a few weeks away from buying my own domain.
But before that I wanna test mydomain.co.cc along with mydomain.x10hosting.com.
As it would just be like a simulation for my purchased domain.
I'll probably buy my domain from godday.
I want my purchased domain, x10hosting sub-domain and the co.cc sub-domain to coexist.
And mydomain.us must be mydomain.us, it shouldn't be some URL forwarding,some sub-folder,etc.

So what should I do to do that ?

Should I use cPanel's Addon Domains or Parked Domains or something else?

How GoDaddy and co.cc should be configured ? I mean DNS ,Zone Records, etc

Please give me detailed instructions !

Also in future I would like to create further some more subdomains of my purchased domain.
So give directions in accordance with it.
And also, for my email @ mydomain.us and mydomain.co.cc .

"And" also suggest me options that should be considered/or is mandatory during checkout from godday.

Thanks In Advance !

Gracias !
Edit:
What about buying a domain from Google Apps ?

To use a domain with x10hosting, you first have to point it to x10hosting nameservers:
ns1.x10hosting.com
ns2.x10hosting.com

After doing this you can:
-Set it as your main domain at: http://x10hosting.com/account
-Set it as an Addon domain from cPanel (Different website from your main domain one)
-Set it as a Parked domain from cPanel (Shows the same content of your main domain)

When pointing your nameservers to x10hosting, you're delegating mail. You can use your e-mail accounts hosting it on x10hosting, or then set the MX records to work with Google Apps.

To use a domain with x10hosting,.......

....................... MX records to work with Google Apps.

Hi fedlerner !

I added co.cc as add-on domain and within 24 hours it is working.
In
http://MYDOMAIN.x10hosting.com:2082/frontend/x3/addon/index.html
, I typed "XYZ123" in "Subdomain/Ftp Username: " thinking it would be needed for FTP like in joomla 1.5.
But it also created sub-domain XYZ123.mydomain.x10hosting.com, which points to same directory as co.cc does though.

Will deleting XYZ123.mydomain.x10hosting.com affect anything in any manner?

One more thing, how to go around "Google Apps Verify domain ownership" .
I'm would like to use CNAME record method.
How do I create new "new CNAME record" and point it "google.com"

Thanks 4 Help Mate !

You can delete the subomain safely, after deleting it it will ask you if you want to delete the directory that it points to, select "No".
Currently members can't add/change CNAME records by themselves. But you can post which CNAME records you want to be added, and we'll do it for you.
