Problem Installing Wordpress

Hey i'm new to the site and new to this whole web design stuff and i'm having a problem installing wordpress onto my server.

I've done everything the instillation guide on the Wordpress site tells me to but when I try and run the install file it comes up with this

I've tried to see what the problem is but I'm having no luck. I don't suppose anyone knows how to fix this, i'd be very grateful if you could ^_^

Yeah set his permissions to all.

Is it possible that I haven't got the database server right?

Sorry guys I got another problem here, during the instillation I get this message:

After looking around it seems that it's because the PHP function getmypid has been disabled, how do I activate it.

You need to upgrade you PHP to v2,
