help!

I created an account and everything seemed nice and easy until I submitted the code sent to my email account and then it gave me an error saying my account user name was already in use! so I clicked to try again and changed the username but it then tells me there is already an account with the email address provided, so it's impossible to sign up!
(but oddly enough I was able to log in into this help forum, I don't get it!)

Submit support ticket at support.x10hosting.com and tell them to terminate you account, that you created recently and then create a new account

If you were able to go through the registration process far enough to get a confirmation code, I'm not sure why it would tell you that the username is already in use after you try to verify it. Did you try logging in to your hosting account with the information that you signed up with anyway?

Other than trying that, I'm not sure what more you can do. If nobody else has a solution to this, someone can escalate this ticket up to staff for you.

Since the day you've been banned (and you still are on the one and only account that you're supposed to have), there have been a lot of new changes to the support system. All support requests are now rerouted to the Free Hosting community support before they are reviewed by staff.

I though I was posting a support ticket - how do I get the staff's attention then? :dunno:

Yes, I tried logging in and was also surprised that after all that was confirmed and apparently ok, I got an error message saying my account name was already in use....(which is not surprising as I used helena which is a pretty common name around the world) I did insert all correct data, no doubts there. Maybe it's a MAC incompatibility bug?

Staff: please scrap my application and let me do it again! urgently!

When you submit a support ticket, it is originally rerouted to support forums until a support volunteer finds it necessary to escalate the issue to staff members.

Seeing as you wish to contact staff directly, and because there is nothing non-staff members can immediately do for you, I will escalate this thread up as a ticket to staff for you.
