Hi inet4sb,

Please log in to your cPanel and click on the R1Soft Backups feature. From there, you will be able to restore your account to a previous state.

I don't see a R1Soft Backups. I even tried the search button . I don't think I have a backup. That's why I was trying to set up my ftp so I could backup.

Dang I had a bad feeling about my site being erase. And I still managed to screw it up.

Hi inet4sb,

All of our accounts come with R1Soft. Please check to make sure you are at this URL:

http://inet4sb.co.cc:2082/frontend/x3/index.html

Then under the "Files" heading, there should be a red and gray shield icon labeled "R1Soft Restore Backups."

I followed the link to my CP. Looked where is said Files. All I have is

File Manager -- which is missing the public_html and the www files

Legacy File Manager -- which is missing the public_html but has a www but every time I click on it I get:
Not Found

The server was not able to find the document (./frontend/x3/files/selspecial.html) you requested.
Please check the url and try again. You might also want to report this
error to your web hosting provider.
cpaneld/11.24 Server at inet4sb.co.cc

Web Disk
Disk Space Used
Ftp Account
Ftp Sessions Management

I have checked every button on my CP and none says R1 Soft Backups. The word backup is nowhere on my CP main screen.

I don't care about the files I lost. I have most of those on my home computer. I can just re-upload them. All I want is my public_html reset so I can start rebuilding. Please if that is possible. If not what are my other options.

Once again thanks for you help

Hi inet4sb,

If you simply only need your public_html folder back, you can go into your home directory and create a folder named public_html.

Hi inet4sb,

I have a website with x10Hosting as well, and my public_html folder contains only the folders that I created manually. If you had folders there originally, they were because you accessed some features on cPanel that require configuration settings to be saved. Your website will function fine without the default folders or hidden dot-folders.

If you ever go into cPanel to use those features again, the necessary files will automatically be created.
