phpbb3 upgrade suspends my account !!

Im trying to upgrade my phpbb3 site from 3.0.5 to 3.0.6.

I have uploaded the auto update installer but when I run through the update process it has to check the existing files first before doing the update. During this period my account gets suspended for high system resource usage !!!

How am I ment to update to the lastest version ??

I just did that upgrade yesterday and I didn't have any problems, so it shouldn't be phpBB alone causing the problems. Do you have any other scripts on your site that may also be running at the same time? The combination of the two (or more) scripts might be causing the problem.

You might be suspended because upgration process take too Long...

Try again... It will work

Well I shut down everything else apart from the one internet explorer window to do the upgrade. Theres nothing else on my webspace apart from the database and the website files.

Tried to upgrade again and it got to checking 106 files of 280 odd and BAM! account suspended again!

Now i have to open a support ticket to get it unlocked.

There must something wrong in upgrade package...

Download the new package and try again

Anyways open a new ticket... I will forward it to staff
