The CSS on my website (vehicledesign.co.uk) is not loading. I've tried almost everything I can think of (deleting the cache, deleting the website files and re-uploading them), but I can't get my CSS to load. It was working before.

I have this at the top of my website:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8">
<!-- <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge"> -->
<meta http-equiv="Pragma" content="no-cache">
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1">
<meta name="description" content="">
<meta name="author" content="">

<![endif]-->
</head>

Please help! Thanks

Ok it turns out I have to wait a few minutes for it to start working! Must be something on the server-end.

Anyway, I have a slightly different problem now.
My background image in the "About" section fails to load. The corresponding css code is in grayscale.css:
.about-section {
width: 100%;
padding: 50px 0;
color: #ffffff;
background: url(img/about-bg-faded-darkest.JPG) no-repeat center center scroll;
background-color: #000000;
-webkit-background-size: contain;
-moz-background-size: contain;
background-size: contain;
-o-background-size: contain;
}

I have tried changing the url to pubic_html/img/acout-bg-faded-darkest.JPG but that didn't work either.

Your css is in public_html/css

Create a subdirectory public_public/css/img

Place the image there and use your original css.

x10 is now using a caching front end, Varnish. So it might take awhile for you to see the change.

I think as per my experience the url of background: url(img/about-bg-faded-darkest.JPG) no-repeat center center scroll; in your .about-section css is not properly I mean to say is you have to put ../ for example background: url(../img/about-bg-faded-darkest.JPG) no-repeat center center scroll; make sure the css file path is correct

Try this it will work other wise contact me. asrarwebdev@gmail.com
