500 Internal Server Error

My site is inaccessible returning the following message:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator at no-reply@x10hosting.com to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I read about the .htaccess file and I tried to put a "#" on every line but I keep getting the same screen. Here is a copy of my original .htaccess:

IndexIgnore .htaccess */.??* *~ *# */HEADER* */README* */_vti*

<Limit GET POST>
order deny,allow
deny from all
allow from all
</Limit>
<Limit PUT DELETE>
order deny,allow
deny from all
</Limit>
Options All -Indexes

AuthUserFile "/home/DELETED FOR PRIVACY"

I'd appreciate your help.

that word "All" will be a issue

AND
are you sure you have only one [ .htaccess ] file in you account ?

some CMS like to add one in their folder

on cPanel-x3's home page click on [ File Manager ]
be sure to set [ Show Hidden Files (dotfiles) ] before you click on [ Go ]
if you do not receive the 'pop-up' to set that --> bottom on cPanel-x3's home page click on [ Reset All Interface Settings ]

in [ File Manager ] top-right of home page
'Search' --> set [ All Your Files ] --> 'For' set [ .htaccess ] --> [ Go ]

How should I edit the "All" word to get it working properly?

Also, yes I found several .htaccess files in different folders. What should I do about them? erase them? should all be the same?

delete it

do not delete them - but look for issues with-in them - such as "Options All ..."
