    As another poster said, it looks like xo2 and xo5 are not done currently. You would be moved to a whole new server. The best you can do is to keep paying attention and logging in through SSO until it is fully done. Or perform trace routes to your site until it appears that the IP has changed.

    That’s what strange about it. It was something cPanel did automatically even if a .htaccess didn’t exist in the subdirectories but it seems with DirectAdmin either an index needs to exist or it needs to be manually defined in the .htaccess file

    If you just want to change the name of the free domain it seems DirectAdmin allows you to from the panel. I’ll see if I post screenshots soon from a friend of mines. UPDATE: Never mind. Even though it is there you’ll get an error as you don’t control or have privilege over the domain itself.

    A friend of mine had the same issue and we found out it was because an index page did not exist. Do you have an index.html or index.php?

    Is there a index page in that subdirectory? A friend of mine had the same issue but after testing and playing with a sub domain I found it was because of not having an index page.

    Guess mine hasn’t been migrated yet on server xo2. They got it going to port 2222 but nothing responds on that port. DNS resolution still shows I’m on xo2

    UPDATE: I contacted support, before I knew about this and the response was hopefully we'll have access to DirectAdmin within the next 24-48 hours.

    I see, cPanel is more expensive that DirectAdmin. cPanel top tier - $45/month DirectAdmin top tier - $29/month x10 is doing the best to negotiate to keep cPanel but if they price too high, than they have to switch to a cheaper option and raise prices for paid members. Though it seems this...

    Yes but it a sub part of the cPanel paper_lantern theme. The theme has a light and dark mode itself.

    I use cloud flare to beat around the bush per se and get and SSL, but for some reason it says on xo2 that HTTPS Redirect for forcing it on has been disabled on the server. Buddy of mine on xo7, it allows him but throws a warning because of not having an actual SSL present on the server.

    As the title states. cPanel does provide it to all customers. Not sure if servers need to be updated further to support it or not.

    It depends. When it’s a server issue that needs to be fixed then it doesn’t get fixed where even emailing them they’ll refuse to help unless I pay.

    cPanel said it’s provided to all. Any version gets it regardless if demo or not.

    I feel employees should still be active more on here. I look at it this way. If you hope people would buy from you, support for free accounts should be half decent at least. Anymore if I email support to get a direct message from an employee, they refuse to help even if it is a server issue.

    Server xo2 - R1Soft Backups

    At least through server xo2, I am unable to access R1Soft backups. It just times out and fails to connect.
