Root shells are out of the question. MySQL Databases however, just use Table Prefixes. Most software should be able to work fine using prefixes found inside of one database.

Visit your Account Panel at http://x10hosting.com/control . Log in to it, and then click on the "Hosting" link at the top of the page. Choose "Modify Domain" and fill in your domain name as the new domain. Click Apply and it should work.
