How feasible would it be to offer some sort of shared IP that can be used as a second nameserver, that simply (or maybe 'transparently' would be a better word) forwards the request on to the users own nameserver?

I wonder actually... it's gonna be a virtual port as it's a virtual server. Each one doesn't have its own physical connection, so I'd imagine that the VPS host itself would have a 100mbit/1gbit/faster network connection,and each VPS is limited to 10mbit so one VPS can't starve the others...

Since it's not so much for support, but more just for general chat (as there's the clients area for tickets), could it not be moved higher? Maybe near places nobody can talk about! :)

If you use SSL, it's tied to the IP, so in effect, only one secure domain per IP.
