Oh, I'm sorry but the free hosting does not allow remote MySQL connections for security and server load reasons. You would need to purchase hosting in order to use remote MySQL.

It's probably due to a high server load. I searched on Google about the "Warning: MySQL server has gone away," and found this on the MySQL website: Quoted from: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/gone-away.html Which means the server was probably experiencing a high load.

I'm thinking it could be the amount of incoming and outgoing pings and stuff? Having so many users connected at once?

It occurs on both of my computers. On Linux I use Deluge, on Windows I use uTorrent. Both clients create the problem.

I also see them, now that I'm logged in a don't. Interesting to find out.
