I checked and can also view your page quite quickly. I would suggest flushing your dns and clearing your browsers cache files. I don't see an issue on our end that would cause that. Especially since all i see is the "Default Index Page" in place.

Since the first issue was resolved i will move this to a the scripts & 3rd party apps. forum. I am sure someone can help you with the second issue.

What file did you password protect? Edit:I have looked and this will require you to remove the passwords from the .htpasswds file.

The forums loaded fine for me. PHP upgrade is active. Otherwise there would have been "PHP" errors on the forums. I don't see any. There is also a sticky at the top of the forums about blank "SMF" forums. You might want to read that as that might help you out with the issue you are having...
