I'm sure you can buy a domain without paying for hosting, but it seems like something that would have to be done manually. Go to: clients.x10hosting.com and open a ticket as a pre-sales inquiry.
You can also ask about domain privacy in that ticket.
I think it's more of user preference than what the browser can actually do. I personally like how Firefox looks and the feel of operating it, therefore I use Firefox.

The PHP configuration is set by the administrators of the server. You cannot change these settings. I'm sure you won't do it through phpMyAdmin because that is for editing MySQL databases.
You may be able to write a PHP code that automatically removes one hour from what the server says.
No you cannot have your database back. It is a serious violation of United States and International law as well as the TOS here to use nulled software. You are lucky if your IP Address isn't reported for uploading an illegal copy of the software.
