    An Attack on my Website?

That's either a spam bot or someone looking to waste bandwidth. Block that whole IP range if you so wish as it's been known to be up to no good. EDIT: Here's the WHOIS information on that if you're interested on what it is. http://wq.apnic.net/apnic-bin/whois.pl

Oh, why my CPU usage is going so high

That's a Windows 2000 and Windows XP bug for people using Microsoft Update mainly which they patched months ago. There is a patch on the Microsoft website if the OP thinks that Windows Update is the problem. I've had to patch a few PCs which had their 2Ghz AMD Sempron Processors get choked for 5...

    What's in your disc tray?

Everything I run is obtained via the Internet or has been set up to run from disk entirely. I haven't used my Optical Drive in months to read anything. I did however use three blank DVDs to back some someone's files from their PC though. The last thing I used my Optical Drive to read was a movie.

Security software telling me my domain is a "known fraudulent website"

Switch off the site monitor on it until the definitions are updated with a fix. You might even need to check who the company actually is behind the software and talk to them about your website.

Security software telling me my domain is a "known fraudulent website"

That looks like the same software Verizon uses for their security center. Unless the domain was simply unknown to the software or someone was spamming REPORT! when they came across your site or perhaps even it being on a previously known malicious IP, I'd consider it a false positive none the...

Problems accessing my site in other coutntries

It could be a DNS issue from the sounds of things. Have him try another DNS server to see if it works. Your server is Absolut, and DNS should be resolving to the IP address of 74.63.233.3

    Project 10101 WUs

For those of you who are folding here on nVidia GPUs with the -advmethod and very large work unit settings running on your clients, has anyone been getting only these units at the moment? I'm not having any problems with those as my box is crunching through three of these every hour but they are...

    Windows 7...

I have a new laptop I recently purchased which is running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Wasn't that hard to set up with my network. Mostly sitting down at the router running some commands on it for the laptop but it grabbed both an IPv4 and an IPv6 address when it came online for the first time...

    Some questions

I haven't seen a docking station in years. Heck, unless the ones made today are USB, they ended around time my old laptop was around, which has a VGA port, a Serial port, LTP port as well as one USB 1.1 port, Infared port, Audio Ports, a Docking Station port as big as the LPT port, and PCMCIA...

Oh, why my CPU usage is going so high

System Idle Process will show as using CPU time when the system is idle, when in reality it is not. If Firefox is using up a lot of memory, look around for any add-ons that might be known CPU hoggers. If you have ads on the page, there might be some CPU heavy ads loading up via Flash. Otherwise...

    Changing BIOS splash screen

I remember the oldest AMIBIOS I've seen before. The BIOS was pretty advanced for it's time since it was able to be controlled via a mouse and had a GUI similar to that of Windows 3.1. But in terms of flashing the BIOS with a new logo, IBM and Lenovo I know have given people the ability to...

    Changing BIOS splash screen

This can be done depending on the BIOS that you have. The BIOS uses 640x480 images, obviously which aren't very big in file size. You can create a bootable CD/floppy/USB disk with an image you want to use for an image. If you know the hardware the old PC has, Google it to see if the BIOS can be...

Oh, why my CPU usage is going so high

Is the CPU clock speed running at it's native clock speed or has it downclocked itself? Open up CPU-Z and take a screenshot of the main window. http://www.cpuid.com/ Also, take note of what processes are using the CPU and let me know what exactly is using the most CPU in terms of time. A...

according to analytics what's the lowest traffic your site has gotten?

These days the only page views I get are from bots. So techically it's 0 excluding the bots. If I count in the bots it's a couple hundred a day and with all hits such as from my signature I'm sure it's a bit more.
