Next-Generation Mac Pro to support 128gb RAM?

That'd take a crazy amount of time to open unless you have some very fast spinning SATA/SCSI or a Solid State Disk in RAID 0... That, plus you'd either need an OMGWTFBBQ sized Photoshop document with a high pixel per inch count with high resolution, or have the PSD stuffed with uncompressed...

    Anyone Playing Aion?

Hey guys, I noticed the open beta is out. I'm currently seeding the 9.12GB file on torrents over at GamersHell since I noticed the download speed for torrents seems to be lacking, so I'm hoping that will help out a little bit with faster downloads. It's been saturating the upload on and off over...

    Counter Strike: Source

Of course. I just ran a sweep through all of the CS:S servers and there are a bunch of them, a few which are full at the moment. Tons of people still playing the game :)

Those voltages look to be in spec. Run OCCT's Power Supply test and post up the voltages from SpeedFan again.

A memtest should not have errors. It's a RAM or power supply issue if you're getting errors in that case then. The GPU issue of the temps disappearing may just be a fluke, as nVidia's chips are made to stand up against high temperatures. Does HWMonitor report Power Supply Voltages? If so can...

    RFID chip, is it real?

Eh, I've heard of these things and this is one thing I don't want done to me. RFID is such an easy technology to jam, as well as an easy technology to gather info from. I'd prefer to use my mind to store information as it was made for, and to enter in my data. By the way, ThinkGeek has an RFID...

Vigge, irq_not_less_or_equal is usually an indication of Memory, power or driver issues. It's a very vague error message. What you should try doing is downloading a program called OCCT and run the Power Supply test and see if it BSODs. OCCT uses the CPU-Z engine so it will read processor and...

    Virtualization vs Dual Boot

That's the sole reason why I look for non-DRM content, and if it has DRM, I rip it right out before the file is even opened/executed. I've had too many problems with the way the "media companies" are saying we should use the media, or with their programs disabling my software. If I absolutely...

What GPU do you have? I've seen a bunch of 7 and 8 series cards from nVidia go past 90 Celsius. Heck, on my old 8800GTs (I still have one laying around as a spare or for selling), until I modified the cooling of them, the card would literally run at 95 Celsius with the fan speed at 45% and no...

    Virtualization vs Dual Boot

I'm a Virtualization person as I've found it to be quite useful and my hardware has hardware support for it. Sure, it uses more RAM but that's no problem. It keeps things isolated on the same box as well quite nicely. Right now I'm running Virtual Machines using Virtualization and they do prove...

    Stoli cpanel problem

Horde has been broken for a week or two now. This will need to be fixed by an admin as it's broken on my account at Lotus as well. As to what is going on with SquirrelMail, I wouldn't know if it isn't cookie or cache related as SquirrelMail is working on my account.

    Virus through Facebook?

I actually know of a three key boot time solute (not Ctrl + Alt + Del) that will prevent all 3rd party programs including DeepFreeze from starting up at Boot. It's a Windows function that DeepFreeze can't stop unless DeepFreeze is loaded inside of the Kernal or the drive is locked by DeepFreeze.

Next-Generation Mac Pro to support 128gb RAM?

Firefox loves RAM :) I remember when that browser ran just fine with 128MB of system RAM installed with no hiccups. Ever since version 3.0 it hasn't been able to do that as it works off of the swap a lot now and you need a box with at least 256MB to get anywhere decent with it.
