Well, you don't need to run VMware to create a development environent, even on windows you could create an XAMP server.

Knightcon, the thing is, no offense to them, the average computer user is an idiot. Most people would know the first thing about computers if you took the GUI away, Thats why people still sell and buy windows.

One thing that I have forgotton to ask, what monitor have you go? THere is no point getting a GPU that can give 200FPS if your monitor can only display 60 of them. Thats another thing to consider. (It would be alot cheaper to go for a card that matches the capabilities of your monitor)
