can not file menager anyhwre. how can i upload my files

If you can't see the File Manager in cPanel, make sure there are no "collapsed" sections of the control panel. See the attachment below so that you can see where to look. If you know how to use FTP which is easy to use, you can use that to upload your files. I suggest using FTP if you're...

i am not been able to log in to c panel

What are you trying to use when logging in? You have to use the cPanel Login details that you set up for when you signed up for hosting. This username/password is different from your forum name. If you need your cPanel username as it can only be 8 letters long, I can get the username for you...

Setting Up A Domain Using CO.CC Using this host.

Well, you seemed to have already been able to point the co.cc domain correctly as I'm hitting a directory listing found on Starka. Now, it's really just a matter of getting phpBB installed via Softaculois, or manually. When you try Softaculois do you hit any errors at all?

Nothing wrong with it. Also, give me the country you live in so that I can track down an NDT server for you. There's a few I know of in Europe.

    No problem :)

    Laptop Battery

What are your laptop specs and what is the rating of the battery? If you're running Vista, changing things to the Power Save mode in the Control Panel can do wonders, and if you have a non-Intel video card, it helps to try other drivers as well. But still, for a laptop that's pretty bad. They...

Then that is just pure fail. I'd imagine that as soon as you start hammering that download, the upload will drop like a rock. Unless of course there is QoS someplace upstream.

    Cannot access CPANEL

Your username is sahand12 . Your password is whatever you set up. cPanel is working fine on your server.

    network monitor

If you think it is a PC problem, you could try checking the event viewer to see if anything interesting is in there.

Sharky in that case I always suggest an NDT test. I do use NDT speed tests now a days since they are more reliable and provide very useful data.

    Backup Proposal, Please Leave Feedback

PHPMyAdmin is a part of MySQL. It is backed up whenever MySQL is. Otherwise monthly/bi-weekly backups are fine here.

i cannot access my control panel

cPanel should be up and running now. If you can't get into cPanel and see a blank page after logging in, click this link. http://lotus.x10hosting.com:2082/frontend/x3/index.html

    Alok Bhave

If index.php isn't loading for you, replace the .php with a .html for the meantime and it should load up just fine.

    CPanel Issue

Try http://lotus.x10hosting.com:2082/frontend/x3/index.html after you log in normally. That should work for the meantime until the server work is done.

I would laugh if that place's network is running in half duplex, or if they simply over saturated that line. Might as well try testing in the morning or some time when everyone is sleeping/not online to see how fast their line really goes.

Fatal Error Message when trying to install a plugin in Word Press.

No way to be able to edit the php.ini file unless an admin does it, which will apply the changes for everyone if I'm not mistaken.

Those trace routes seem to look pretty good. Quite stable despite the connectivity problems that you're having. If it's nothing wrong with your modem's signal, it's probably something network side.

Fatal Error Message when trying to install a plugin in Word Press.

It basically means that whatever you were trying to run was going over the PHP memory limit that x10Hosting has set. The memory limit for PHP is 32MB at the moment. I don't understand why your script which is using 9MB of memory is hitting against a 32MB limit (unless other scripts are executing...

Trace a server near you or for that matter, any server. Also, if your modem stats are unreachable (such as if Charter locked them out for whatever reason), then it's going to limit what I can tell you.

Access MySQL hosted elsewhere from x10hosting script

It is an issue with the firewall configuration on the server. At the moment the firewall is purposely set to block Remote SQL to other servers not x10. Corey or another admin who has say over these things should be able to see this post soon and answer. This has been a feature many have been...
