"VPS" means "Virtual Private Server" (Paid). They run the same as any other server however they are faster and more dependant as well as more versatile because it is one computer that runs only that website/server. Therefore it is only you on that server. This is nothing related to the problem...

Its a good windows version but soon enough another one with come up and it will be even better. Besides id rather not buy windows 7 for 400$ if i can just grab a windows laptop, already on windows seven, for 350$.
