I do not doubt that what you say is true. I was just trying to get as much information as possible about the issue. Somebody at staff level will probably read this thread soon and some of my questions are the same they would ask in order to diagnose the problem. Carl

I just edited my previous post. Checked credits before and after edit. Did not see any change. Does this happen to you on every edit? Also, has it happened recently? Maybe it was a bug somebody found and fixed.

That is strange. Be interesting to hear explanation from somebody who knows the actual reason for that. Does not make sense to me.

I don't know... Does partitioning a hard drive break Windows? My goal was to permanently break it. Pretty sure I succeeded.

I had something like that before I threw Windows out the window. Not sure if I can do that on Ubuntu, but thanks for the suggestion. I will check into it. Carl
