I use a Windows-based OS since that is the platform most applications today comply with  But if I wanted to choose, regardless of compatibility, I'd choose Linux. It's free, it's simple, and versatile.
I currently have 1GB of DDR2 RAM (667Mhz) on my PC Rig now. But I need an upgrade fast. These aren't enough 'cause I just need the extra edge. Maybe an extra 1GB and more for my video card will do.
Me, I just don't like Microsoft's way of capitalizing other people. Look at WGA, they're just using it to reap in more profits, which by the way is unsuccessful IMO because some find ways to circumvent it. They don't give easier/cheaper alternatives to many people that's why they resort to that...
they're products aren't that bad. they just need improvement. lots of it  or maybe because the products are so popular i just said that. :hahano:
the MS monopoly is pretty tiring to see though. the company got so big it's probably gone to their heads. :rant2:
that's something...
Anyone want to post their computer specs here? ;)
Here's mine:
I'm just using an onboard video card though  So can't do much here if you're going to do GFX-heavy stuff. Otherwise, it runs decent enough without much slowdown.
No offense to the MS supporters out there, but there are also likely a majority of people here who don't like the company.
Tell me, why do people hate MS? Is it of bad services? Bad software? What?
