That might be a software problem, I would scan for spyware/malware. :eek4: I'm running 1GB for video (SLi) and 4GB Crucial Ballistix 2.0v on Win7 64-bit.

They have mentioned that they want older hardware to be able to run the machine along with the best of them, while catering to both. I think it will still run on a 6 series card myself...

I was angry with win7 for a minute because "superfetch" kept giving me errors, turns out it was actually my Crucial RAM. Thankfully Crucial is a good company and they back their product and are in the process of sending me two new sticks. I'm going to add win7 back on and give it another shot...

I have an old Sony Vaio that I could only sell (in my opinion) for about 50$ and I would actually feel bad selling it for anything just because I know the hardware is behind the times. I gave it to my mom so she could play Pogo games in the living room...Sometimes its just not worth it to sell...

I like Win7 much better then Vista but it still has too many bugs for me, even for normal usage.

$100, considering you can buy dual core laptops for under $500 nowadays, most will come with 2-4GB and ATi/Nvidia newest chipset. Plus, with new computers you get at least a year warranty. This machine will be as-is and used.
