It may be a good idea if some one from staff update all the users as it is extending a lot. In case there is some serious problem then may be people can take some action to contain problem.

Nothing of this works. Not sure whether it is hacking or advertisement or some serious problem. So many websites are impacted. May be one of the staff will be able to help with what actually is happening.

My experience is that Joomla 1.5 is better. Very nice elegant easy to use Admin module. Otherwise also I find good extensions and themes for 1.5 now. On most of my sites I have 1.5
