Well obviously first remove AVG through Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel (or "Programs and Features" if you use Vista). Once it's removed, you can use CCleaner's registry cleaning function to remove any remaining registry keys

You can easily get other fuel efficient cars (i.e. Civic, Yaris, Fit). The Smart is an extremely inefficient car

If you've got the money, go for the 9800GTX or GT. I personally think the 8800GT is one of the best all-around cards, but ATi is catching up with their newer cards..

If you plan on gaming and such, I recommend XP. If you plan on just doing basics, you could go with a Linux distro; Ubuntu is my personal favorite as of now

Heh forgot to close this thread; I got a dual-slot cooling 512 MB 8800GT from EVGA for $120. COD4 is maxed, and Crysis is nearly maxed. This is a HUGE improvement from the 8600GT
