Totally agree with boookworm99. It can be done, but it will not be fast. If you want to run small web apps for personal use, it can be useful. However, if you want to have a lot of visitors at the same time, it won't help you at all.

I've heard that W7 is much better than Vista (anything is better than Vista). I have a Toshiba dualcore laptop running XP and ubuntu... I'm not sure about migrating from XP to windoes 7, has anyone tried it? Is stable yet? Has anyone seen bsod?

I've only tried CentOs and Ubuntu, but I like the second one because it is very easy to install programs.
