I have tried to use the "How to insert Ads" FAQ for SMF but neither of the methods work for me as in those mods dont install properly so I can not access them to use. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling SMF and it wont work. Is there any other way to insert ads on all SMF pages or a way...

Since I changed to Intermediate PHP last month it seems that the only way to get anything on my website to display, is to give the directory that has my website files in it 777 permissions because if I don't it wont show up. So is there any fix to this or should I downgrade my PHP? -Picard
