I am developing a website for a non-profit organization. If I get a registered domain name and use it here on my free hosting site, will the organization be able to transfer the name to their own web server once their equipment in purchased and installed?

After a bit of a rocky start (all my problems, of course), I got my pages loaded and all seems to be working well. Thanks for the help from the support staff.
