Create a new mail account. After you've finished creating it, it will ask you if you want to configure it to be used from a mail client. Click yes. Then just select the email client you have. It will do the rest.

10 gb is on the lower side for a medium forum. But it will be fine until you hit that point. No sense spending the money for VIP before you get that many forum members.
