What script? Manual installs usually require you to create the database ahead of time via cPanel. 1. 10.33.249.3 is an internal network address, not localhost or int.chopin.x10hosting.com . 2. The database should be named mega_abcdefg (has to have your cPanel name in front).

You could Google "PHP counter scripts". You could try Perl scripts too. Sorry, I don't know of any off hand. If the PHP script requires GD, it is enabled on free accounts.

cURL is enabled in PHP. Some of it is disabled for security and performance issues. But the majority of it works. Unfortunately, it sounds like your installation script uses one of the disabled features and they cannot enable them for one account.

That is a known issue. It takes a while to get a new SSL certificate for a server. You cannot just transfer it from lotus to fris. I just click 'Yeah, I know, let me in anyway' and proceed.
