When VPN is disabled, you should be able to access again after clearing history/cache. Please provide error code if you still receive an error code after disabling VPN.

If you get it from sslforfree, yes you will need to do it yourself unless you are able to get the automatic certificate in hosting control panel

You have to get the SSL yourself. it is managed in hosting control panel account manager > ssl certificates > get automatic certificate from acme provider

Also stated on the webpage, initial quota of 512 MB. Please make your own separate post to request storage increase
