!!!***Read this if you have missing files!!!***!!!

Very true. Some people use the link http://[your-site]:2082 instead, so I thought I'd put in the foolproof way ;)

    Is port 465 blocked?

It looks like Corey is pretty close to done with the transfers. I'd just let him finish if you can wait. It'll probably save you a lot of headaches :)

    Is port 465 blocked?

PHP V2 is a reference to X10's PHP system, not PHPBB. I forgot they used the same name :) The local mail I was talking about is in reference to your first post: I haven't used PHPBB very extensively, but I think if you change the first setting to NO, it may work.

    Is port 465 blocked?

I'm not sure if fsockopen() will work even locally, but it did for me on my old free account using SMF. Did you try using the local mail option? This problem may also be resolved when the PHP version system is re-implemented. Everyone's on "v2" but I wonder if fsockopen() is still disabled.

[JavaScript]Load different webpage depending on browser type

This shouldn't be too hard. And, if you can do this yourself, you can add or remove different browser types as you want :) Look at this part: dataBrowser: [ { string: navigator.userAgent, subString: "Chrome", identity: "Chrome" }, { string: navigator.userAgent, subString...

    Account area not working.

There was a pretty good period of time where the forum and probably the account panel went down. It seems to be working for me now.

I don't know if the staff generally do this, but you'd have to submit a ticket and see if they will. http://support.x10hosting.com

!!!***Read this if you have missing files!!!***!!!

There's a lot of people with a lot of questions on what's happening to X10 right now. I hope that this helps. For those of you who don't know what's going on right now, Corey is doing some work on the servers. Long story short, X10's servers need to be upgraded for X10 to continue to work...

[JavaScript]Load different webpage depending on browser type

This is a bit overkill, but it should work ;) http://www.quirksmode.org/js/detect.html Then you can do something like: switch(BrowserDetect.browser) { case 'MSIE': document.write(....); break; case 'Mozilla': document.write(...); break; case etc.... default...

    error on mysql table

A lot of people are having this issue. What is happening is all free accounts are being transferred to a new, more powerful server. The problem is, when you transfer huge amounts of data like this, and the data is always changing, things get out of synch. Hold tight for a few days while the...

    Is port 465 blocked?

This seems to be an issue while the servers are being transferred. The data is out of synch. When things stabilize, you should be good to go. I don't think there's anything we can do to speed this process up :( It'll be worth the wait when it's all done though. We should be back up to ~95%...

    Update

There are a lot of accounts on X10. This is actually what started the problem  Corey hasn't posted an ETA. What he's doing is pretty huge though. He's paying more money for free users (from which he really doesn't get much in return) to move us all to a better server with better uptime...

    recieving email?

The problem isn't with X10's hardware or staff, it's the software that manages the free accounts, which is developed by another company. The software isn't designed to support nearly as many accounts as there are on X10, so Corey and the staff had to find a better solution. Currently, they are...

    Is port 465 blocked?

It is in cpanel :) When it's back up, you need to go to mail and then select "configure mail client" next to the email address you want to send it from.

    My files and DB's

Virus scanners are not perfect by any means. It may have been a misunderstanding. And, with the work on the servers something may have gone wrong. These sorts of errors have been happening very frequently lately while the servers are being upgraded. So, right now all you can do is just hold...

    Is port 465 blocked?

fsockopen() was supposed to always be blocked unless you had PHPV3 or paid hosting on X10. I'm guessing when the new system was implemented, this function may have been accidentally unblocked. It's a risky function, because it creates a direct connection to another server, and it can be easily...

    I can't update my site?

The servers are undergoing maintenance, so you will experience weird issues like this until the maintenance is done. http://forums.x10hosting.com/news-announcements/98132-update.html

    Is port 465 blocked?

fsockopen() is a function that you should not rely on working in this context. It has been disabled before because it is a security risk. If you can use local mail, I would do that instead.
