    Vbulletin quick to buy?

Trying :P It'll be done maybe next year. Seriously. It's not easy. But, I've used a couple of forums and I don't like the way they're programmed, I think they're missing a lot of features by default, and I don't like the mod system many of them have. So, I decided to start doing my own.

    need a bit of help.

They're pretty much the same. File manager is less hassle, unless you have the FTP up and running already. Actually, I forgot the webdisk (use the webdisk tool in CPanel). That works like a regular folder on your computer. Edit: You need to be in file manager either way to extract the files, so...

    Vbulletin quick to buy?

I don't know if VB will bring more users. I think most people don't care what kind of software is on the forum as long as it has some good features, like most of them do. Most forums have migration tools that will take your old forum information and import them into the new forum. I like VB...

    need a bit of help.

You need to delete the sub from your cpanel (don't delete the files), then go to http://x10hosting.com/panel -> modify your account and change your current domain to the one you want. Then go back to cpanel and add the subdomain.

Free Host - ASP - Where is it?

No problem :) There is a lot of work happening at X10 right now, so some of these details are still being worked on. Enjoy your hosting account :)

Free Host - ASP - Where is it?

There are no IIS servers on X10, unless you sign up for the paid VPS service. Mysql and Postgre are the only two databases. ASP.NET up to 2.0 is supported automatically, as far as I can tell. I've created a "hello world" app, uploaded it to public_html and it worked without any modifications...

    PERL development setup - beginner

I like the versatility of having my own development server. You can install XAMPP very easily and it includes Perl, Apache, and MySQL, so you can have your entire site copied on your own PC. ActiveState makes ActivePerl. I've used ActivePython and it worked very well. links...

    Help with Community server Install

Ok, so you got a pretty big project :) One of the files is missing the namespace System. Do you have the code for all the project files? This is what is happening: int x = 0; // error at this line, what is int? using System; // System defines int int x = 0; // this will work, int is defined...

Did you forget to: using System; at the beginning of your code? It's telling you that the type System.int is missing.

    Icons are back!

The path to the images was wrong. Probably a configuration setting in the bowels of VBulletin was set incorrectly. I think the staff changed some things and forgot to update this setting.
