Hi, I have been trying to delete some files from my public_html, but they keep coming back, I have tried changing the permissions of public_html and also a number of other things suggested on this forum but nothing has worked so far.:confused:

I'm not sure how to link you as I am new to all this stuff.They are in folder public_html, and are called: administrator cache components images includes language media modules templates

I have highlighted the files and clicked delete, I have also changed the permissions of the directory holding the files, none of these things worked.

I am trying to re install joomla 1.5, I keep getting a message saying files already exist and I should delete them manually, I tried this and they keep reappearing, I have also changed the file permissions to 777, but they are still there.
