    Ports blocked?

I'm trying to connect to a 3rd party SMTP provider on port 587 from a wordpress install. The connection keeps timing out though, does anyone know if ports are blocked by default and if there is anything I can do about it? Insight much appreciated (and, alas, necessary :) )

Hey, thanks for the advice. I'm now running into the No files visible in control panel / file manager issue that others have just reported.

My site (http://thesplinteredhead.x10.mx/) is still giving me this error post-migration. My files appear to be there, but I can't (/don't know how) to change the permissions. Any ideas anyone?
