Can I request for my account to be deleted?

It's working now after I deleted my .htaccess. By the way, I hope this question doesn't offend the X10hosting staff, but after the servers migration to Chicago (IIRC) one of the staff said that uptime will be 99.9%. But I'm still getting a lot of downtime. I want to host my blog on X10hosting...

That's strange, in File Manager under public_html it shows cgi-bin, dailyblogdose, fterh, .htaccess. But from my browser (http://fabianterh.x10hosting.com) there is only dailyblogdose and cgi-bin. Why is that?

I get 500 Internal Server Error when I visit my site (http://fterh.com) Any ideas?

I'm on Chopin and my site is frequently down too. :frown:

Hello I think that the servers had rolled back to an earlier stage. I went into cPanel file manager and discovered that the files in a particular folder are from several days ago (I had deleted some files since then). Perhaps the administrators may want to look into this.

Hello, my site is up once again, and all seems to be fine except for one problem. It seems that the server cache is messed up, my old favicon was shown instead of the new one. But I expect this cache problem to self-resolve pretty soon, so thanks for your help. :D

I understand that the servers are to be upgraded soon (http://x10hosting.com/forums/free-hosting/124403-up-down-up-down.html). Will that fix this issue?

Chopin has been extremely unreliable for me. I can access cPanel but not my site (fterh.com). Can the staff of X10hosting please rectify this issue asap? I really miss the times when X10hosting was as reliable as paid hosting. Now, page loads are slow and uptime is unreliable. Back then...

It seems that Chopin's SQL updates are long done, mine worked for a few days and now it's down again.

My wordpress-powered blog tells me "Error establishing a database connection" and cPanel's "MySQL Databases" reports database as 0.00MB. However phpMyAdmin displays my database correctly with each table having a reasonable size. I have checked service alerts, nothing there.

Hello, I run a Wordpress blog and I schedule databases backups to be mailed to me daily. However I have not received mail for quite a while, and when I checked it says that "mail() has been disabled for security reasons". Just wondering, will this disability be lifted anytime soon? :)

Gotcha. :D Just a side note, I tried logging in to cPanel and it was down. I refreshed and it worked (my site worked too), but after a few minutes both cPanel and my site were down again :(
