Hi,
I have installed an instance of zencart on my account whose Primary URL is http://alchem.x10hosting.com/cake/. I have kept the site in maintenance mode as i am setting up the site.

It was working fine till friday morning and i could not logon to the admin section after that due to some other work. Now today when i try to login to the admin section i get this error message

0 DB_ERROR_NOT_CONNECTED
in:
[db_cache table]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

Please help me out of this situation.
Thanks in advance.

Please try logging in to cPanel, going to the MySQL databases section and deleting your MySQL user, then adding it with the same password, and linking it to your database again. Quite a few users are experiencing this issue, I'm not really sure what caused it. That's the fix, anyway :).

^^ Thanks for the solution. I figured that out myself. Deleted the current MySQL user and created the new MySQL user. Updated the configure.php file in /include and /admin/include. And the problem was solved.

But just want to know, what happened all of a sudden. It was working fine 2 days back and today the error popped up from nowhere.

We think something happened with the grant tables a bit ago that caused this. If it happens again please let us know as I think it was a one time event.
