READ BEFORE VOTING: Do not vote unless you are absolutely sure of your answer.

Alright, the basic point of my post was to get your minds and mathematical skills working. Anyways... here's how it's going down, if you start with 2 and 4 (which obviously means one half).

Before continuing: Make sure you read everything to it's fullest before continuing on to the next step or you will completely ruin the challenge of this game.

Step 1: Keep doubling both numbers. Make a conclusion, does the number ratio ever change from 1:2? Say that you continued this forever, would it ever change?

NOW DO THIS REAL QUICK, WITHOUT THINKING ABOUT YOUR ORIGINAL ANSWER VOTE!

Lol, I will reveal the answer in 5 days when the poll closes (my vote doesn't count, because I already know the answer. My vote may be right, may be wrong. :))

No and this can be explained.

(I hope you aren't using any college level stuff. If not, its NO)

SPOILER!! DON'T VIEW AND GET PISSED.

1:2 is the ratio.

To mathematically write down doubling both numbers, you do..

1 x 2a : 2 x 2a

x means multiply

a is the variable to show which number you're on. (How many times you have doubled.)

Since ratio's are just fractions rewritten,

That makes the above look like this

2a/4a

So the a's cancel out and the 2/4 = 1/2.

Get it?

Interesting, I thought I was going to see everyone voting for one option. Nice to see some people voted the wrong option too haha (whether you were wrong or you voted on purpose lol).

no: if u double the numbers, u can always simplify it by 2^n, where n is the number of times u doubled the numbers and you will get 2 and 4 again
(yes, i am a math nerd =P)

There's no need to be a math nerd to know that! It's obvious. ;)

That was a very nice way to get that said.
