I figure this has been asked before. Search was to broad.

Is there a way to use say website baker, and usebb and combined the registerd members with a universal login?

I can load both in one database, but not combining the members string. I mean telling the cmses to use the same data field.

When one user is registered on one cms hen you can send two queries to make the users in other cms database too.

In this way same user will be created in both cms databases.

Thanks for the reply

I know joomla, php-fusion, etc have forum module, just like the website baker way of editing pages. thought I mite be able to intergrade the two without a hole lot of coding.

^that's similar to what I have...and it really did take a lot of effort to set up:

Joomla-acts as the central login-the main site.
phpBB3-Forums-automatic login if user logs into joomla.
Coppermine-Photo gallery-again, auto login.
MediaWiki-Autologin upon request.
Opencart-eshop-different login window, but same details.

Edit:

Forgot the point of the post: I use CMS bridges, which basiclly link the databases to each other, so they all use the same system of users. You should google it, and have a poke around. I'm sure you'll find something.

Yeah but this type of integration didn't saw till now. in two separate CMSs, Generally there will be system integrated to blog users and forums users with same login system. One will be there and other will be developed.

Two different systems integration may take long time and also requires lot of coding I think.

Yeah, definately.

Be prepared to commit a lot of time if you want to do this. Despite the easyness of Joomla's ACP, it still took me about a month to get everything working with no glitches.

The main challenge is co ordinating between two different databases without clashing the modification of data in both the cms and also for all the users.

It is time taking process but can be done.

I thought if I loaded cms, and the forum in the same database, then edit the forum use account to use the same database user account feild "wb_user_accounts" and the same session cookie.

yea this will be a challenge.
