I have one x10hosting.com domain and a parked domain. I want to know if it is possible to host 2 separate domains with x10hosting. If yes, how can i point each domains to a separate websites?

Now the problem is when you add a parked domain or an Addon domain it has to be in public_html directory. Also, i uploaded an article directory in public_html and it was fine. But i tried to put the second website script into a different directory and it didn't work. Only when i put it into public_html website it loads ok. But the first website (article directory) disappears.

What do i need to do here. Is it naming the directory as index.html?
I hope i made myself clear, Thanks.

Hi ata.online,

You can host multiple websites on one hosting account using multiple domains by using our Addon Domains feature. When configuring your Addon Domain, set it to point to a specific directory within your public_html folder. For example, http://ata.online-one.com may point to /public_html/one/ and http://ata.online-two.com may point to /public_html/two/ . Then, when you want to edit your first website, you would modify the files in your /one/ folder, and for the second website, you would modify the files in your /two/ folder.

All files that you want accessible by the public must be placed in the public_html folder.

Thanks for the info. I will try that.
Edit:
Hi,

It seems to work. Although i don't have a website up on the second domain yet. I noticed though that you can point your domain to the directory you want in Addon domains, but in parked domains it only allows you to point to public_html directory and not a particular folder inside public_html. It mentions in Parked domains section the following:

Parked Domains are relative to your account's home directory. The
homeb.gif
icon signifies your home directory which is /home/ata.

So if i want to upload a website to a domain, it has to be in Addon domains and not parked domains. As parked domains supposed to be dormant anyway.

after creating it as a parked domain you should be able to "manage redirection" for it so i guess there's more than one way to Rome;)
