403 error changed permissions but no use

hello
when i tried to access my page i am getting 403 forbidden error
I have changed permissions to 755 after seeing the threads here
I have changed the permissions for all the files under "public_html" directory
but no change
Currently I have installed joomla with a separate dir its working no error shown
my account got suspended for this error 2 times so plz help be before my acc gets suspended for 3 rd time

In which url you are getting this access problem?

Verify the permissions on all files, and folders. Also, check the .htaccess file to make sure its not corrupted, or setup to password protect the files.. Try deleting this file and see if it helps.

.Check whether your files are not corrupt. As if you don't save your files in UTF-8 it may get corrupted.

actually i am using joomla with a separate directory
there is no index.html file in the root directory so just to check i have created index.html file which contains just the add code but still the same error is shown
bye the way where to find .htaccess files
there are no such files in my directories!

- Check whether you have 644 permissions for Files & 755 Permisions for Directories.
- Check your .htaccess for errors (Check for file corruption too)
- Can you please provide the URL of your Joomla Installation ?

The problem is with your .htaccess.
I've renamed your .htaccess to .htaccess.bak, and as you see you're now able to see your webiste.
You'll have to look your .htaccess and see what's wrong with it. Check the "error log" in cPanel which is really helpful.

Also, don't CHMOD your public_html folder to 755, it should be at 750. I've fixed this for you.
