404 error. Oh no

I'm semi halfway through installing SMF, but, when i go to my url kageelite.x10hosting.com it has a 404 error. Any ideas?

So that makes it a quarter way through?

The installation might have done something to .htaccess which would work when the full install completes.

There is a missing index file.

Hard to say.

Do you have an index file in public_html?

What does your .htaccess contain?
