I'm migrating from another host and have a backup of the database of a wordpress blog, I uploaded the database to x10hosting, install wordpress from scratch and upload a wp-config.php with the data of the backuped database but at first when trying to access the blog it returns nothing (Chrome said the page could not be shown).

I turned all the permissions of the /blog folder to 777 and now when trying to access de blog it returns a 500 error, I tried a lot of thing, including reseting the options of plugins and theme directly from the database buy still with the same problem. Am I doing something wrong or is it a problem with the server?

Thanks

File permissions of 777 cannot be used on the servers here due to security reasons. Set the files to 644 and use a permission of 755 on the folders.
