500 Internal Server Error

My site has been having connection issues since 3am (BST), and since 7am I've been getting the 500 Internal Server Error again. Any news as to why this keeps happening? I thought the huge web server update was supposed to eradicate this?! Or at least help.

Anyone care to get back to me as to why this keeps happening today. The website has been up and down all day like a yo-yo, and it down again now.
