Have been unable to execute a php all day. Have not made any changes to the module.

Is there any update on when the issue might be fixed? When it happened several weeks ago it was fixed fairly quickly but it has been all day which suggests something a bit more serious or something has changed which means I need to change something.

Seems it was a permissions issue

I had a property on a folder set to 777 for files I write to the folder that had 644. It had always been that and had always worked. Just changed that folder to 755 and it has overcome the problem.

Sorry take that back. It just worked but has gone back to not working again.

Okay, that's fine. There is currently an issue similar to this on your server which isn't permissions, hence my last response.
