500 Internal Server Error

Hello, i have installed joomla in my site dbtc.x10hosting.com but whenever i installed any extension i get the following error.. can somebody help me please..

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Make sure that none of the folders have permissions higher than 755.

my file permissions is set only to 644 and 755.. not more than that, what should i do..
Edit:
i cant installed anything in my site, regardless its a component, module, mambot or templates..

When did you upgrade to intermediate PHP?

Check the error_log found in your cPanel for more information on why you're getting the errors. If you need help post the errors here.

i just apply for upgrading today, i got the following message:
