503 error on SMF only?

i am wondering.. do you guys block SMF or need to approve smf installs or something?

because on my domain
i have installed SMF. No mods or anything. Just a plain SMF install and it gives me a 503 error.

however on the same domain i've installed phpbb and the phpbb site is working great.

example... my site is

xxx.x10.mx/smf << I am getting a 503 error
xxx.x10.mx/phpbb << same domain, just different folder. Works great. no 503 error.

I used softcolus to install. iam wondering is it smf the problem?

No it's not just SMF. I use phpBB and I get the 503 error when uploading mods

This is ridiculous. I'm on SMF too, and I've been bombarded by people asking me about my site for a week now, with no sign that you guys are doing ANYTHING to fix it.

As soon as I can get to my files, I'm sorry, but I'm looking elsewhere, because this outage has absolutely killed any momentum the forums were getting and I can't afford to have something like this happen again.

This error has been in the same consistent state for six days now.

Does x10 think this acceptable? Six days!

I could have set 50 servers up in that time yet this error is still persists.
