Hey, a few hours ago I randomly received a 503 Service Unavailable error half way through developing. When I try to access my website I get this error:

"
Service Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.
"

I can access and use the cPanel, however I cannot access the website on a browser. I am wondering whether this is x10's fault or mine? I checked the status and apparent the free hosting server is down however according to that page the server has been down for the whole week; which isn't true as i've been using fine up until now.

Hey devpedal,

Another thing to be mindful of is that there are space limitations imposed on new, free accounts... When you go over those (invisible, or at least I can't find them documented anywhere) limits the server responds this way (500 & 503 errors). I did a site transfer & backup which pushed me over the limit and then I was unable to complete the process until I downloaded & deleted the backup. After reporting it I received the following message from Dead-i:
It looks like you have hit your 512MB disk space limit. A problem with our "Basic" theme means that a blank page or 500 error is shown when your account has run out of space. To help with this, I have switched your account over to the standard cPanel x3 theme, which should load properly for you. Please either clear some space, or wait until your account is eligible for an upgrade to unmetered disk space.

This might not be the same error you experienced, but is good to keep an eye on.

Cheers!
