i have a couple of questions prior to signing up for free hosting with X10.

1. Are you allowed to use a domain you already own ?
2. How much disk space is allowed for new accounts ?
3. Is there an inode limit ?
4. How much bandwidth is allowed
Thanks in advance for replying to my inquiry.

1. > yes
2. > start at 500 Mib - you can receive a free upgrade to unlimited disk quota - you will need to ask for it
3. > yes - 50,000
4. > bandwidth is unmetered

thank you so much for that prompt reply. I can see no provisions in the sign up screen to use your own domain, how is that done ?

So, as i understand that tutorial, you sign up with a X10 sub-domain to get access to the CPanel, then add your own domain via parking, does that sound correct ?

yes ..
a 'parked' domain will show the same Web site as you account's domain (from the same folder)
a ' addon' domain will show its own Web site (from its own folder)
