A noob question

I'm new to the site and had just apply for a host, I want to know how you know if you got host or not? The admin send you a mail or some kind of notice?

Yes you will get a notice in your e-mail as to your account details and such.

When I signed up, it was automatic, which is what alot of people really like. I recieved the confirmation within 10 minutes.
