A shoutbox here?

Hey you guys should think of installing a shoutbox here. Im not sure if it would be possible with these forums but just a suggestion :smile:

Chat room would be better used I think. Not as much refreshing and stuff too. We'll see. I mean why have one of those when there is a forum? :tongue:

Yeah I see no point what so ever. If we would add something, like Conor said, a chat room would be better. But even then, there really isn't a point... And if we even have a chat room, why not get an IRC channel?

The only reason why we'd make a chat room would be support. This is a free hosting... we are not supposed to offer 24/7 support. It would consume up too much time.

Maybe as our member base grows more, even though we have over 1,000 members not all of them check the forums often

yeah this would make the members grow and a chatroom can give tech support. Well i visit this forum every day!!!

I think having a chatroom would decrease the likelyness of spam on the forum and people could get immediate help from others in a chat or they could share stories or websites. It would make this community more sociable.
