A total redo

Now I`m just askin so don`t go dumpin my site or nothin ...but I think the layout of my site is wrong and I was going to just tear it down and start over ..is this possible or not....It probably is ...but I just thought I would ask.

See I`m getting visitors but noone is staying. I am still going to go with the same idea..A windows help forum. But I know realize there might be better out there that just phpbb.

Something I`m thinking about....and thought I would ask :grin:

how long has your site been up for? it looks like its doing pretty good to me......

anyway i think the problem with your site is that is has to many categories. The visitors (like me) get overwhelmed by the amount of categories. You might want to consider more sub-categories and it might attract more visitors.... just my 2 cents

ohh and nother thing you might want to add some categories aout windows, since after all it is called WINDOWS world.. lol, and u could make your descriptions a bit shorter and to the pointyer, lol

lol, yea it is i dont see the point just do what i told you to and make sub-categories instead of having two pages of categories....

My forum (the first page) is modified to the you know what. I tried to install hiarchy mod to give me sub forums but its just to much ....I have done all the other mods (like 6 ) and they all installed successfully. When I designed the page I designed it without thinking first. I think it would look much better in Xoops style or something along that line ... thats why the redo ..

lol, im kindof a nub but i know what the public wants and im just telling you to install a different forum that will allow you to have sub-categories. (i think you were trying to tell me you can't add cub-categories but im not sure..)

what do you mean you got the first 2 words.....LOLdid I not explain it right... I have modified the original forum php files, now when I go to install sub forums mod on it I cant, because non of the files are were they are supposed to be. So I get errors all the time when I do it.

Thats what I want to do. thats why this thread. To find out if I have to ask to redo my forum or can I just go ahead and redo it

and the reason I ask that question is I have seen ppl ask if they can redo ther websites....so I thought I would ask because thats what I thought you were supposed to do. I hope that clears things up for ya

lol, yea i think u should redo it, but may i ask why you modified the original files?
